Traffic Group Signals Appoints Fleet Hire Division Manager

With demand for our temporary traffic signal hire service growing at an exceptional pace, Traffic Group Signals has appointed a new Fleet Hire Division Manager to drive forward the impressive and in-demand offering.

As an intrinsic addition to the team, in this newly created role,  Karl Darwin will develop and implement a strategic plan to grow the signal hire programme inline with the company’s overall business objectives.

Temporary Signal Hire is an effective way of helping you save money by maximising your fleet efficiency. Short and long term signal hire, routine maintenance and repair, upgrades and controller exchange are all available services under the continually evolving product offering.

An optimal choice for the new position, Karl’s experience in the traffic management industry spans more than 10 years. Embarking on this new chapter, Karl comments: “I’m delighted to be joining Traffic Group Signals at a time when the business is thriving and enjoying an unprecedented period of exponential growth. Our signal hire offering provides a flexible service for our customers who are looking to bolster their fleet with additional portable and temporary traffic signals, without the long-term cost implications.

“My priority is to scale-up this service and expand our offering in the North of the country, where demand is continually increasing. By expanding the range of products and reach further, we are endeavouring to meet customer demands and expectations by providing an efficient, effective and useful service that they can rely on.”

With our hire services, customers are able to adapt their needs as the traffic management  industry can often face low-demand and peak-demand periods. The service allows the combination of additional signals paired with existing fleet or a full set-up for a particular requirement. All equipment undergoes full factory acceptance before being re-hired and is maintained to OEM standards, ensuring ongoing reliability.

Karl continues: “As the capabilities of the hire service offering extend further, we will be looking to expand the talented workforce, as well as bolster hire support across the country. It’s a very invigorating time to be taking on this new opportunity and joining such a dynamic and forward thinking business that is dedicated to meeting customers’ needs and expectations.”

Under our hire service offering, customers have access to the repair, maintain and refresh service, designed to cut down on costs and keep serviceable equipment operational for longer.
